While we knew Jake was in the military and we knew that his job used to entail photography, what this humble pair forgot to mention is that he’s kind of a big deal. When Dutch met Jake’s brother, he said something to the effect of “wow, you guys must be really good if Jake chose you.” And then it was revealed by Jake’s proud dad; Jacob Bailey has been awarded Military Photographer of the Year. Gorgeous day in NYC for Olga and Jordan’s engagement session! We met for a drink overlooking the Hudson and then wandered around Central Park before hopping a cab to the Brooklyn Bridge. When we arrived, the sun had been down for about 15 minutes so we literally sprinted up the bridge to make it before the sky went dark. It was well worth it, the blue evening sky was perfect.
